Susan Barilich

Susan Barilich handles a wide range of litigation matters. She has been practicing law for over 25 years and has tried over 100 jury trials and over 50 trials before the court for clients in California and Texas.

Ms. Barilich has also handled approximately 30 commercial, construction and real estate arbitrations as an advocate on behalf of a varied clientele.

Early in her career she was in-house counsel for two Fortune 500 companies. She has also worked as an Assistant City Attorney, where she gained valuable first chair trial experience. Ms. Barilich has been in private practice since 1988, starting out as an associate attorney with a commercial litigation firm. She opened her own practice in 1992 and successfully operated it as a small firm through 1997. She then merged her practice with another firm, and became a principal in the new firm. In 1999, she joined the firm of Godwin & Carlton, a major Dallas litigation law firm, as a partner. 

She moved to California in 2008, and practiced law in an of counsel relationship with two firms in the Los Angeles area. In 2009, Ms. Barilich established her own firm in downtown Los Angeles. Through her extensive experience, she is very familiar with the needs of business owners and the importance of resolving disputes effectively and efficiently.
